Since the mid-1980s Underhill International has exported products from leading U.S. companies, including Hunter Industries, Bear Irrigation, Weathermatic, Chapin Watermatics, Nelson Irrigation, Bucker Irrigation and Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting. In addition, Underhill has distributed many other complementary products through an international network that includes hundreds of distributors.

In 1996 the Underhill commitment to the industry was expanded when Ed Underhill joined the company. Working his way through the ranks, today Ed Underhill heads up the firm as President and partners in the company’s sales and marketing activities with Mark Faris, who came on board in 2007. Faris has been affiliated with the golf and landscape irrigation industry for more than 25 years as a product manager and marketing professional.

Underhill expanded into manufacturing in 2005 and has developed an extensive line of water-saving products for golf courses, sports fields, commercial and residential installations. The company has become an industry leader in 2Wire control systems with the introduction of controllers, programmers and decoders. The Underhill name is also well-known in the golf world as the manufacturer of Profile golf nozzles, proven water-savers now installed on prestigious courses across the U.S.

Recently, Underhill has brought to market an innovative product for synthetic sports fields: M-180S, MTG-180 Turf Gun, Total Solution Kits that include swing joints and sprinkler boxes offering a more complete irrigation system that ensures cooler, cleaner and safer playing fields.

As the Underhill product line continues to grow, the company’s sprinklers, valves, controllers and irrigation accessories are widely-recognized in the industry and installed at many prestigious facilities from high schools to private universities, Little League to Major League Baseball fields, municipal golf courses to Top 100 private country clubs, and individual homes to Fortune 500 facility headquarters.
