The folding cylinder being housed inside the toolbar frees up toolbar space versus an external folding cylinder that many competitors employ. 1500 toolbars are available in both planter and cultivator models ranging from 6 row 40” to 16 row 30” in a variety of row spacings. Producers have the option on all 1500 toolbars to choose either 3/8” or 1/2” wall tubing. The 1500 Series was developed based on the original principles of the Orthman internal cylinder folding toolbar developed in the 1970’s.1550SERIESDOUBLE TOOLBARSThe 1550 Series double toolbars are designed around the 1500 single toolbars and are engineered for the roughest conditions. The 1550 features double 7” x 7” toolbars with 1/2” center section wall tubing and 3/8” wing section wall tubing attached by top and bottom gussets for an extreme amount of strength. The brute strength of the 1550 handles tillage and strip-tillage (1tRIPr®) row configurations up to 16 row 40”. When making the transition to 12 and 16 row strip-tillage, the 1550 is the perfect tool carrier.
