This simple-to-use instrument measures protein, amylose and moisture content in rice. The AN820 is factory calibrated to handle short, medium and long grain brown rice as well as milled rice.  Even high moisture brown rice can be accurately measured.  In addition to the three components, the AN820 provides an overall quality assessment (QEV) to help you determine the value of each rice sample and scientifically manage the taste of rice. Accurate measurement is achieved without pre-processing the samples by husking and grinding that is often required in competitive devices.  This dramatically reduces the overall test cycle allowing you to focus on improving product quality and not on sampling and prep work.
