Migrate™ forAgriculture works because it affects the behavior whilecausing no actual harm to the bird. As a result, birdswill avoid feeding in places where Migrate™ forAgriculture is present, diverting them to other feedingareas. So far, no bird species has been found, that is notaffected by the Migrate for Agricultural bird repellents.Rejex-it® Migrate™ for Agriculture has beenformulated from food grade ingredients with an activeingredient, methyl-anthanilate, that meets US FoodChemical Codex (FCC) specifications. Rejex-it®Migrate™ for Agriculture is an aqueous slurry of micro-encapsulated product that is miscible with water in anyratio.Research has shown to date that all bird species areaffected by Migrate™. After one application of Migrate™for Agriculture, birds quickly leave the treated areas.Migrate™ for Agriculture can be mixed with water andspray applied up to the day of harvest for blueberries.Limit the application to 3 days before harvest forcherries and grapes. If the grapes are used for winemaking, spray only up to 5 days to harvest.Apply Migrate™ for Agriculture when there is no rain inthe forecast, in the morning after dew disappears or inthe evening. Do not apply when the sun is directlyoverhead or in freezing conditions. Shake the Migrate™ before mixingwith water. Read the label for the appropriate mixtures.Mix in well-ventilated areas. For better coverage forblueberries and grapes, add a silicone surfactant.Mix Migrate™ at a ratio of 1 part product to 1-3 partswater. Apply spray mixture at a rate of 10-20 gallons ofspray mixture per acre. (See label for details.)Mix Migrate™ at a ratio of 1 part product to 10-20 partswater. At the 1:10 ratio, apply 25-50 gallons spraymixture per acre. At the 1:20 ratio, apply between 50-100 gallons spray mixture per acre. Ratios shouldprovide adequate coverage on fruit surfaces.One application lasts from 2-3 weeks. Repeat treatmentevery seven days if bird feeding continues. On cherries,one application is usually sufficient. On blueberries,usually two applications are needed. Apply the firstbefore the first berries can be eaten by birds, and thesecond after the first harvest.Micro encapsulation is the process of enclosing asubstance inside a miniature capsule. Such capsulesare called micro capsules. The substance inside theMigrate™ micro capsule is Methyl Anthranilate. Thecapsule wall is made of a natural substance. Theactive ingredient, MA is a food grade repellent which exceeds USFood Chemical Codex (FCC) specifications, and is classified asGenerally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the Expert Panel of theFlavor & Extract Manufacturers Association. MA is a commonadditive to foods, food flavors, and fragrances.It is used to reduce bird damage to berry crops. It is approved foruse on grapes, blueberries and cherries. It is mixed with waterand sprayed on berry crops.It is a micro-encapsulated MA taste repellent that makessprayed crops unpalatable to birds, teaching them to feedelsewhere. The slight grape odor has no affect on birds - it is thetaste of the MA that discourages bird predation.While the label states application up to the day of harvest, forcherries and grapes, it is advised to limit the application to 3days before harvest to eliminate any slight grape taste on yourfruit. If the grapes are used for wine making, you might want tospray only up to 5 days to harvest. Blueberries are not assensitive to taste contamination and application up to harvesthas no impact on taste.It will not harm people, plants or animals. It is formulated fromfood grade ingredients with an active ingredient that exceeds USFood Chemical Codex (FCC) specifications.Apply to dry fruit only after the fruit is ripening and there is nosignificant rain in the forecast. See label for more details.Migrate for Agriculture can be applied to your blueberries up tothe day of harvest. It is advised to limit the application to 3 daysbefore harvest for cherries and grapes, and 5 days for grapes forwine making to eliminate any grape-like taste on your fruit.Read the label for the correct amount of waterto add for your type of fruit. Shake well andadd it and the recommended quantity of water.DO NOT use a hose end sprayer. For bettercoverage for blueberries and grapes, add awetting agent or surfactant.Repeat the treatment within seven days if the birds continuefeeding on the fruit.No, for best results, apply Migrate for Agriculture within therecommended amounts for the type of fruit that you are treating.NO.
