Optisweet is the unique feed sweetener to stimulate early feed intake. It combines Talin® with other high intensity sweeteners to create a powerful sucrose like sweet taste that provides a palatability baseline across feeding stages. Talin® is utilised as a flavour enhancer, sweetener synergist and masking agent to improve performance of flavour and sweetener products in animal feed applications. It is extracted with water and purified by selective ultrafiltration.
