A Multipurpose loaderwagon which belongs to the top of the market because of the quality en performance. The newest developments makes the Rapide even more compact en efficient. Technical improvements are made at some essential points. The changing needs of the end customers and 25 years of experience by Schuitemaker, are combined in this wagon. Schuitemaker strives for perfection, and the new Rapide is a result.The Rapide, shows where it stands forThe new Look is the first thing you notice about the new Rapide. The red box with the white name sticker together with the white rims match perfectly with the anthracite chassis. The side panels are galvanized and coated, so they are double protected. The cage construction is stronger en sturdy made. The total width of the box is 2,55 meter now. This meets the regulations in many countries. The inside width is still 2,4 meter. The new Rapide shows, as his predecessor, quality, power and robustness.2 | 3RAPIDETHE NEW RAPIDE25 YEARS RAPIDEDOUBLE FUNCTIONMultipurpose, double function.The trailing, highly folding pick-up (a lot of ground clearance), the robust box construction and perfect weight balance take care for the unique multipurpose properties. The new “RapidStream” front panel provides a perfect guidance of the grass into the wagon and can (optional hydraulically) folded down for the maize harvest. UPDATED PICk-UP The trailing, highly folding pick-up of the Rapide is improved at some points. Because of the new pivot and limited movement restriction of the pick-up tires, the pick-up tines stay free from the soil even when the field conditions are rough. This prevents unnecessary wearing out of the pick-up. In addition the pick-up has a stronger construction and a bigger loading capacity. The whole tine bar can be simply dismantled.Better loading, better silage.The new rotor cares for a better loading of the crop into the wagon. The star-shaped rotor is always 2 meter width and has stacked tines. The rotor tines are curved and 20 mm wide. Even under the most heaviest conditions worldwide, all the crop will be perfectly cut and loaded into the wagon. Lower fuel consumption The strippers are wider build and have a new shape. They take care of a steady loading of the crop in the Rapide. The platform has been lowered further towards the rotor. The crop has a better flow into the wagon and power requirement is less. The quick-change cutting system is of course still present in the wagon. Useful is the knife holder for extra knives at both sides of the machine. The pressure on the knives is hydraulically adjustable from control box. This results in a excellent cutting quality of different crops, and a longer lifetime of the knives.
