No. 12687) Composition n-alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride 100% 12 g natural essence of pine, menthol and eucalyptol 4 g Water up to 100 g Chemical and physical characteristics Appearance: limpid pale yellow liquid Odour: pine scent Density at 20° C: 0.996 pH of 1% water solution: 7-7.5 Average molecular weight: 354 Miscibility: dilutable in water at any ratio Properties SALVANOS PLUS possesses a strong microbicidal power against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, algae and lipophilian viruses. Besides, it gives a cleaning and deodorising action since it eliminates bad smells due to bacterial decomposition leaving a pleasant scent. Its solutions are non-corrosive for metal, plastics, rubber, varnishes, pottery and other common materials. Compatibility Incompatible with anionic surfactants and soaps usually contained in detergents, and with alkali. Toxicity of the a.i. Low mammalian toxicity: LD50 acute oral rat: 240 mg/kg LD50 acute dermal rat: app. 1,420 mg/kg Areas of application Suitable to disinfect floors and other hard surfaces in houses, hospitals, schools, hotels, meeting-rooms, communities, gymnasiums, swimming-pools; means of public transport, toilets, rubbish containers, domestic animals' shelters; of linen and objects in general. Rates go from 0.25% to 1% (from 25 to 100 cc. in 10 lt. of water). If the surface is porous or not completely clean, doses must be increased. Solutions can be applied by sprinkling, rubbing or dipping. Warning For the proper use of this product, follow the instructions given on the product label. Read and keep the MSDS.
