The counterweight system allows uniform distribution of the product, which enters the sieve case which contains perforated screens installed to suit the particular treatment. The upper sieve divides the product from largeimpurities, the lower sieve divides the desired product from fine impurities.Operation, PSC 5:Two phase cleaning system.The product with impurities enters by way of gravity. The counterweight system allows uniform distribution of the product which encounters a cross air flow to remove lighter particles. It then enters the sieve case which contains perforated screens installed to suit the particular treatment. The upper sieve divides the product from large impurities, the lower sieve divides the desired product from fine impurities. The same process then takes place in the lower sieve case. Before exiting the cleaner, the product is passed through decelerators where an air flow removes lighter particles.
