The Company was founded in Molinella in the early ’80s with the construction of the first branded mulcher. Following and interpreting farmers needs leads to a progressive production of large diameter rotors.

During the mid-’80s, new products came to life, followed by the first mulcher with knives arranged in eight rows.

In the ’90s, Agrimaster started producing sprayers and reach mowers arms, proposed with an extensive and differentiated range of models.
The threshold of the new millennium saw the production of exceptional machines, designed for working on very large areas.

Innovations and quality products have favoured the conquest, always ahead competitors, of significant milestones, such as quality certification or ecological production systems choices.

Passion for the Land
“The earth does not belong to man, it is the man who belongs to it”. This is the motto with which the founder Giorgio Martoni in 1984 transforms his passion for the land into an entrepreneurial idea.
This is how the first Agrimaster shredder model comes to life. It is not only a mechanical product, but the baptism of the philosophy that guides the company: providing concrete answers to modern farmers’ needs, anticipating market demands compared to competitors.

Growth That Starts From Afar
The first important order comes, curiously, from across the globe, more precisely from Australia.

In a few months the first production of large diameter rotors came to life, followed by the new mulcher and the design of the first knife shredder on eight rows.

The impetuous growth of the 90s marks the landing in atomizers and brushcutter arms production, proposed in an infinite variety of ranges and models; then it is the turn for the creation of exceptional machines, over 8 meters long, in order to increase productivity on large plots.
At the same time, a widespread worldwide sales network is developed and Agrimaster’s “receivers” are multiplying, transforming the company into a global reality.

CONSTANT, CUTTING-EDGE EXPANSION
The company organization has always had a specific determining weight for harmonizing the incessant rhythms of technological innovation with the need to maintain high product quality and improve customer satisfaction.

Agrimaster’s growth process is therefore balanced and respects the right combination of increased demand, increased productivity and systematic expansion of the plant.

Today, after 40 years, the production area has reached an extension of more than 6000 m², distributed on various buildings that host the different stages of processing.

DEMETRA
In 2016 Agrimaster acquired 100% of Breviglieri. In 2017, Alcedo’s investment fund took over 100 per cent of the Group and merged the two companies under the name Demetra. In 2023, the Private Equity Fund DeA Capital buys 50 per cent of the Group, together with Alcedo, which reinvests in it. The holding company DemetraAgri was created, consolidating both Demetra and the Danish Dalbo.
