Beginning January 1, 2014, the registration fee is $70 (USD).Rental Cars: Multiple rental car companies have offices inside the airport near Baggage Claim. To reserve a car ahead of time call these rental car companies located at the airport: By Taxi: Taxi cabs are available just outside the Ground Transportation area of the main terminal near Baggage Claim. Located just 10 miles south of downtown Atlanta, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is accessible via local Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) trains and buses, taxi cabs, and interstate highways.Transportation from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport:Taxi Cab Rates:Taxis operating within city limits are regulated by the City of Atlanta. There is a flat rate depending on the area you travel within or to. MARTA is available directly from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to the Georgia World Congress Center. All MARTA stations and rapid rail cars are fully accessible to handicapped and elderly passengers. The one-way fare is $2.50. For more information call: 404.848.5000.Parking Information:The Georgia World Congress Center operates five surface lots and two parking decks-all located within the convention, sports and entertainment campus. Parking rates are $10 or less for all-day parking and never increase due to event day activity in downtown. All lots are gated and attendants are on duty during all show/event hours. Emergency vehicle assistance is available for motorists in distress.There are five currency exchange locations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. They offer the following services: foreign currency, traveler’s checks, drafts and wires, phone cards, travel insurance and foreign check collection.Hours: 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. Seven days a week.Locations: Atrium – main terminal, three on Concourse E, and one on Concourse T. Downtown offices of major banks offer this service Monday - Friday (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.). Some exchange hours vary. Currency exchange is also available at major hotels.Foreign Currency ExchangeADDITIONAL INFORMATIONBy MARTA Train: The MARTA train station at Atlanta Airport is located in the terminal building towards the Ground Transportation Area. The I-285 runs east-west and is to the south of the airport, the I-75 and I-85 run north-south with the I-75 to the east of the airport and the I-85 to the west. Atlanta destinations are clearly marked from the airport. Typical travel time to downtown from the airport is 20-30 minutes.£$¥C$2.50one-way$10 OR LESSMETROPOLITAN ATLANTA RAPID TRANSIT AUTHORITYRAIL MAP 2014 IPPE Shuttle Bus Routes:HOTEL ROUTE # IPPE SHUTTLEINFORMATIONIPPE 2014 will provide free shuttle bus service between most major downtown and midtown hotels servicing IPPE 2014 and the Georgia World Congress Center. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday; 7 - 11 a.m. and 2 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday; and 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Thursday. Shuttle buses will drop-off at the Andrew Young International Boulevard Entrance in front of Building B.
