Amazing things have happened during our company's 150-year history. Our great-grandfather Franz Pöttinger, as a master watchmaker, always had his ear to the pulse of the time and was quick to realise when the hour of mechanisation in agriculture had come. He was also a locksmith, a blacksmith and a well digger, and when he founded the firm it was certainly not possible to imagine that one and a half centuries later an internationally successful company would still bear his name. PÖTTINGER in 2021 has a lot in common with the company back in 1871. Then as now, we are a family business, in which the focus on people and a down-to-earth approach are very important. We welcome you on a journey through our 150-year history and give you a look towards the future.

It is an impressive history that the Pöttinger family and the PÖTTINGER company have written over the past few years. As the Management Team, we are grateful to have been able to accompany a small part of this development in recent years. We are pleased to share responsibility for continuing the success story in the near future.
