Properties VIRQUAT 10 is a disinfectant with a wide sphere of action and a considerable bactericidal capability; it is effective against bacteria, viruses, moulds, fungi at a superficial level and in depth as well. VIRQUAT 10 is non-irritating, non-odour and remains stable even at high temperatures; it does not discolour fabrics and varnishes and is non-corrosive to metals and rubber. Compatibility Incompatible with anionic surfactants and soaps usually present in detergents, and with caustic alkali. Areas of application Thanks to its characteristics VIRQUAT 10 is particularly recommended for disinfecting hospitals, houses, schools, public places, markets, furnishings, tools in general, means of transport, toilets etc. Moreover, it is effective as an anti-mould disinfectant in food industry, especially in the dairy, preserved food, wine, fish-processing, mineral water, soft drink industries as well as in the veterinary sector. Dilution rates and directions for use VIRQUAT 10 can be applied by washing, sponging, sprinkling and vaporisation, usually diluted in water from 10 to 100 g. every 10 lt. of water. The precise rates are as follows: • in hospitals, communities, houses: for meeting-rooms, bedrooms, sitting-room etc., 60 g. every 10 lt of water. Technical Data Sheet I.N.D.I.A. Nona Strada 55/57 35129 Padova Italia • in slaughter-houses, in dairy industry: for floors, walls and ceilings, 60 g. every 10 lt. of water; for working counters and equipment, 40 g. every 10 lt. of water. • in the veterinary sector and in poultry farms and for incubating equipment: for premises, 60 g. every 10 lt. of water; for equipment (mangers, drinking troughs, cages etc.), 40 g. every 10 lt. of water. • in transport: for people, animal and food transportation means, 60 g. every 10 lt. of water. Remember that this product must not get in touch with foodstuffs and beverages and that after disinfecting it is necessary to rinse thoroughly with drinking water to favour the elimination of residues. Warning For the proper use of this product, follow the instructions given on the product label. Read and keep the MSDS. Do not contaminate people, animals, foodstuffs, feeds, beverages and their containers with the product. The producer assumes no responsibility towards third parties.
