These developments, bac-ked up by CAD 3D technology, haveenabled Westtrack to acquire a wealthof knowledge and experience in tracksystems, which are successfully appliedin agriculture, earthworks, horticultureand land development.Automatic lubricating systemFor the automatic lubrication of themain bearings of the D-Series,Westtrack supplies a purpose-designedautomatic lubricating system. This lubri-cating system provides a constant opti-mal lubrication of the main bearing. Limiter setTo prevent the frames from the C or DSeries from tipping over, Westtrack hasdeveloped a limiter set, which is availa-ble as an option. All frames from thisseries have been prepared in such away that the limiters can be easilymounted.Reduction piecesTo make your track units suitable for dif-ferent machines, Westtrack can designand produce customised attachments,allowing you to maximise your invest-ment.Track widenersIf you prefer a specific track width,Westtrack can produce customisedattachments, which are available as anoption. The units can thus be used foras many track widths as you like. Thisoption depends on the type of trackunit. A rubber track has upto four times as many studs that are in con-tact with the ground, while the track doesnot flood thanks to the self-cleaning capacityof the rubber track. When negotiating bendsand obstacles, the four track units always takethe most ideal position, ensuring the bestpossible distribution of weight and excellenttraction.Your tractor as a cater-pillar tractorWesttrack has developed a seriesof track units that can be used onalmost any wheel tractors and self-propelled machines. The wheelscan be easily replaced within 60minutes with track units withouthaving to make any drastic changesto the machine. If required, youcan quickly change back to stan-dard wheels, thus returning thetractor to its original use. All com-ponents on the tractor, such as lif-ting device and power take-off, canstill be used, as well as front-endloader or front-lift.Lower ground pressure means higher yieldA set of track units mounted on your machine will lead to a ground pressure reduc-tion of up to 75% compared to a similar tractor with tyres of the same width. The structure of the soil in which the seeds are sown and planted is left completelyintact.
