WiPa - Model FW 500 - Separator Screw Brochure

The WiPa separator screw is used to separate impurities from the granulated material. It is furthermore suitable for pre-washing the plastic and soaking impurities to remove them more easily.The material is filled to the bottom of the separator screw and transported to the top by means of two spiral conveyors. During the transport the material is moving very much so that impurities such as stones, sand, glass and metal can easily sink to the bottom. These impurities are pushed out by means of a time controlled discharging system. In addition to this process impurities sticking to the plastic are being soaked so that they can be removed more easily.
