Next May, Edinburgh becomes the global epicentre of distilled spirits innovation as the 9th Worldwide Distilled Spirits Conference (WDSC) returns from 4–7 May 2026. Under the theme “Excellence in Science and Innovation – Delivering Tomorrow’s Spirits,” this is more than a conference—it’s a catalyst for the future of our industry.

Held at the stunning Edinburgh International Conference Centre, WDSC 2023 was our biggest and boldest yet:

• 560+ delegates from 32 countries brought global perspectives and energy.
• 155+ oral and e-poster presentations tackled everything from zero-carbon distilling and regenerative agriculture to AI-driven process modelling and flavour science.
