Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has organized 'Krishi Vikas' Exhibition and Conference from 25 to 27 May 2015 at Dussehra Maidan, Annapoorna Road, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. This event is organised concurrently with the inauguration of the Madhya Pradesh Government's largest agriculture show 'Krishi Mahotsav'(from 25 May to 15 June) to help the farmers by showcasing latest techniques of agriculture and help them in improving the yield of agricultural produce. The chief minister of the state inaugurated the show.
More than 50,000 farmers were the main visitors while other stakeholders like agronomists, dealers/distributors of agricultural input companies, scientists from agricultural institutions, centre and state government agencies involved in agriculture visited the show.
More than 150 companies exhibited and main exhibitors were tractor manufacturing companies (JD, TAFE, Mahindra, Swaraj, Sonalika, Massey,Force), implement manufactures like Lemken, Jadhao Falc and some other local rotavator, power tiller, and other small implements manufacturing companies exhibited their products during the show. Apart from the above, Agri input companies making seeds, fertilizers, chemicals, irrigation systems, post-harvest technology and other components also exhibited.
Bellota was present with the high quality boron discs made in India for disc harrows, a machine that performs very well in stony soil and hard or black soil. Concurrent to the event there were conference where farmers gained knowledge about latest farming practices and they took help from the experts about their problems in agriculture.
