Fieragricola 2012 close to sold out: Agricultural mechanisation in the forefront with five halls out of ten
110th Agriculture Show at VeronaFiere 2-5 February 2012. With record numbers
Boom in registrations compared to the same period two years ago on the eve of the previous event: +21% for exhibitors, +28% for inside square metres, +67% for outside dynamic areas. There will also be an impressive line-up of international delegations, precisely at a time when agricultural engineering is set to return to pre-recession market levels, especially thanks to exports. Same - Deutz Fahr make a major return to Fieragricola.
Verona: October 2011. Increasingly dynamic and close to sold out. With less than four months to go to the 110th edition of Fieragricola in Verona (2-5 February 2012, www.fieragricola.com), figures for the leading European exhibition dedicated to agriculture are already impressive. Compared to the same period 2009, that is on the eve of the last Fieragricola show, the number of exhibitors already officially registered has increased by 21%, matched by a very positive performance for square metres of booked space: +28% for inside areas and an amazing +67% for outside areas, where space for dynamic system tests has been further extended. 'There are excellent signals for attendance at Fieragricola,' said CEO & Director General of VeronaFiere, Giovanni Mantovani, 'that on the one hand confirm Verona's leadership in the exhibition segment dedicated to the primary field and, at the same time, that agriculture and agro-foods are still important driving forces in Italy's economy.'
On the basis of applications, Fieragricola 2012 should welcome more than 700 direct exhibitors and occupy 10 halls at VeronaFiere, with half the area entirely occupied by Agrimeccanica, the section dedicated to tractors, harvesters, agricultural machines and equipment. Strong acceleration in agricultural engineering also coincides with the important return to Fieragricola by Same – Deutz Fahr, thereby joining all the most important brands in mechanisation.
Fieragricola will promote direct contacts with international buyers to support the export vocation of exhibiting companies that, thanks to the boom especially seen in Russia (+71%), Brazil (+11%), Turkey (+11%) and the European Union (+8%) is sustaining the recovery of this field.
