Mycotoxins and Mold Discussed in New Online Video
The IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video today. Their newest production discusses mycotoxins, mold and potential exposure risks.
“The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency states that more than 200 mycotoxins from common molds have been identified, and many more remain to be identified,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane & Associates and the IAQ Video Network. “While mycotoxins have been studied extensively as they relate to food contamination and ingestion, future studies will hopefully provide for a clearer picture of the health effects related to inhalation. We hope this new video helps to shed some light on potential exposure risks to mycotoxins and mold in the built environment.”
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public's health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental, CTSI and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
