SGS published a white paper on Forestry Chain-of-Custody last June 2013

The white paper titled “Understanding the Forest Product Chain-of-Custody Certification Standard” talks about the challenges, impacts and opportunities for the Forest Product Chain-of-Custody (CoC).

The purpose of this document is to provide an introduction to the Forest Product CoC certification requirements. This document is not intended to be a full explanation of the certification standard nd related requirements or of its implementation. Rather, it aims to promote understanding of the standard and its benefits to organizations doing business at a domestic or international level within the forestry supply industry.
