This Hammer-Head Replaceable Tip Soil Probe (24" Window) Kit features a hammer-head cross handle which can be hammered on with the included impact absorbing dead blow hammer. No need to lug around a heavy slide hammer anymore! A standard 10” cross handle also comes in the kit for regular soil conditions. The soil probe measures 1" X 36", has a 24” sample window allowing the end-user to pull 0-24” soil samples, and is constructed of a thick .109w chromoly. The hammer-head cross handle is made of high-strength alloy steel. Replaceable tips are made of nickel-plated chromoly and are heat treated for added durability. A spanner wrench is included to add or remove replaceable tips.
