Easy Petrol Post Driver - 107mm Round Post Adapter
The 107mm Round Post Adapter is engineered for use with the Easy Petrol Post Driver, enabling efficient driving of round timber posts with diameters between 90mm and 100mm into the ground. The adapter maximizes performance by ensuring a snug fit, which is crucial in preventing post damage and ensuring secure installation. Installation involves removing the standard tube with a 6mm hex key, replacing it with the Magnum Adapter, and securing it using the original bolts and washers. The use of a locking compound is highly recommended to prevent screw loosening due to vibrations. For optimal post installation in very dry, compacted, or stony grounds, a pilot hole may need to be created for posts above 78mm in diameter. This can be accomplished using the Pilot Core Tool or an Earth Auger for more substantial work. Custom sizes of adapters are available upon request, accommodating a variety of specific user needs.The 4″ (107mm Adapter) has an internal diameter of 107mm. This adapter is suitable for driving posts between 90mm – 100mm diameter into field ground.
Remove the standard tube using a 6mm hex key to unscrew the 8 bolts & locking washers. Slide the standard tube off the base of the Post Driver. Slide the Magnum Adapter into its place & attach using the same bolts & washers. Remember to use a Locking Compound on the screw threads to stop them vibrating out.
The maximum capacity of the machine is 4” round diameter.
Our largest adapter is 107mm internal diameter.
When the ground is very dry, compacted or stoney, you will need to make a pilot hole for posts larger than 78mm. This can be either by hand using a Pilot-Bar, or mechanically using either our Pilot Core tool or an earth Auger. Posts smaller than 78mm should not need a pilot hole.
