24/7 Smartrace Plus Calf - Sustained Release Bolus
The 24/7 Smartrace Plus Calf Bolus is a sustained release bolus specifically formulated for ruminating calves over six weeks old and weighing between 100 to 200 kg, particularly those on grass or forage-based diets. This bolus provides a balanced and continuous supply of essential trace elements such as copper, iodine, cobalt, and selenium, vital for the optimal growth and development of young calves. With its unique delivery mechanism, the bolus is designed to dissolve gradually in the reticulum, ensuring a consistent release of nutrients over a period of 180 days. This technology has undergone extensive testing, including trials in-house and in New Zealand, showcasing a reliable sustained release profile, crucial for maintaining necessary trace elements levels. To administer, each calf should be given one 58 g bolus using the approved Agrimin cattle bolus Applicator B, with each package containing 20 units.
24·7 SMARTRACE® PLUS CALF boluses are designed to lie in the reticulum. The wrapper on the bolus dissolves and the bolus breaks into two parts.
These erode and dissolve completely thus providing a continuous and regular supply of nutrients to the animal.
