Bradshaw - Model T800 -8-Tonne Tow Tractor
The NEW 8-tonne tow tractor from Bradshaw now features electronic steering, enhanced suspension, a new front axle, larger wheels, new brakes, a redesigned cab, and sharp modern looks that provide operators with a market-leading level of ride, comfort, and handling.
The 8 tonne four-wheel, T800 tow tractor comes with a powerful 48-volt battery. All the models are available with a range of cab options, allowing the customer to find the ideal vehicle configuration for each site. For extended run-time applications, or where battery change is an operational requirement, the T800 is the obvious choices. On outdoor or split level applications, particularly if the site requires cab vehicles, the T804 with its improved stability, braking, ride quality, and standard power steering acts as the perfect solution.
Efficient Towing Performance
As standard, the T800 is equipped with a 20mm pin multi jaw tow hitch with various sizes options, making the 8-tonne tow tractor compatible with multiple trailers. The T800 includes inching buttons as standard to assist coupling, offering ease and precision when aligning tow tractor and trailer.
Batteries
The T800 utilises a powerful 48-volt system, with the choice of four standard batteries; 240Ah, 315Ah or 375Ah lead-acid batteries or a 255Ah gel maintenance-free.
For standard run-time operations, a lift-out battery suits many applications. For extended run-time applications where battery change is an operational requirement, the T800 has the option of a side exit by either forklift or roller bed.
Electronic Speed Control
The T800 incorporates an AC control system enabling a high level of controller setup while dynamic speed sensing prevents over-speeding in all directions. The ability to pre-set the maximum speed between 8 and 14kph and the optional high/low-speed switch makes the T800 a safe solution for any application.
Electronic Braking
Five individual braking systems protect tow tractor and operator. The T800 features new responsive hydraulic drum brakes to all four wheels and offers increased durability maximising productivity and reduced servicing costs. The T800 also includes electronic regenerative braking under deceleration, automatic hill hold, and automatically applied transmission parks brakes for greater safety assurance.
Safety
Designed to keep operators safely inside the vehicle, the T800 includes a safety seat cut out (OPS) which prevents the tow tractor from operating unless the driver is seated. The T800 also incorporates a pair of LED headlights, twin tail lights and brake lights as standard, horn, emergency stop button and automatic audible warning in reverse to protect those working on the ground.
Ergonomic design
The T800 provides excellent comfort with plenty of ergonomic design features included. All-round visibility is achieved thanks to the open sides and rear windscreen, while a low-step, flush platform provides ease of access and comfort. A comfortable single semi-suspension driver’s seat complete with a fold-down armrest provides additional comfort for the operator, especially when using for long periods of time. The T800 4-wheel tow tractor also includes electric power-assisted steering, vertical or lateral battery extraction for simplified maintenance, external inching control for trailer hitching, and reduced torque steering input.
Robust build
The T800, with its solid frame construction and reliable components, ensures long-term reliability and durability. The low maintenance AC traction motor offers more power and performance while simultaneously reducing operating costs, and the built-in thermal protection minimises service downtime. The tow tractors electronics, the AC traction motor, sealed combi-controller (with IP65 rating), sealed electrical connectors and Hall effect sensors and switches are all protected from damage to ensure excellent reliability, maximum productivity and reduced servicing costs.
