Fertacid - Acidifier - Phospho-nitrogen fertilizer
Fertacid is a phospho-nitrogen fertilizer with an acid reaction, which can be suitably used as a surfactant and acidifier of antiparasitic solutions. It does not produce foam. As a surfactant, Fertacid reduces the surface tension of the solution facilitating wetting and therefore a better dispersion of the sprayed mixture on the leaf surface. This effect is particularly useful when treating plants with leaves with a waxy surface such as citrus, cabbage, onion, garlic, etc.
As an acidifier, Fertacid lowers the pH of the solutions thus preventing alkaline hydrolysis responsible for the inactivation of many pesticides (such as Bt, phosphorganic insecticides, phytohormones and various herbicides).Fertacid must be poured directly into the sprayer solution or into the mixture preparation tank before adding plant protection products or other fertilizers. The dose varies according to the pH and hardness of the water used. We will start with the addition of 50 g / hl up to 100 g / hl and more if necessary.
