Mapsens SensAgro - Model A-3 - Agricultural Sensor System
The SensAgro A-3 is an advanced sensor system designed specifically for agriculture applications. It integrates flow measurement capabilities with its predecessors' environmental monitoring functions. The device features a flow sensor, or flowmeter, which measures the volume of liquid passing through a pipe over a specified time during irrigation. This enables detailed analysis of irrigation timing, water consumption in specific areas, and identification of potential continuity issues such as leaks and equipment failures. Additionally, by combining flow measurement with existing features like temperature and humidity (both ambient and soil at two levels), the SensAgro A-3 provides comprehensive data to optimize field operations and improve resource efficiency. The system includes dual-depth probes, a flow rate range of up to 60 L/min, a maximum fluid pressure of 2.0 MPa, and a maximum fluid temperature of 120°C, with a flow rate measurement accuracy of 3%. It issues alerts for irrigation start and end, offering vital insights for water usage and infrastructure assessment.
The SensAgro A-3 device includes, in addition to the probes implemented in the SensAgro A-1 and A-2 products , a flow sensor or water flow meter . The flow measurement refers to the quantity of liquid that passes through a given section of pipe, in a constant time interval once irrigation has started.
From this measurement we can determine the start and end periods of irrigation, water consumption for crops in certain areas, data on the evolution of fluid transport to identify possible continuity errors; which could mean problems such as: leaks, breakages, incorrect sizing of distribution networks, failure of certain equipment such as pumps, etc.
By combining the flow meter measurement with the features of the A-1 and A-2 versions (monitoring temperature, ambient humidity and soil moisture at two levels) we will have a truly complete device that offers us the possibility of carrying out a more exhaustive analysis at field level in the face of possible incidents that may occur and productivity efficiency.
