Anaerobic Digestion for Agriculture
Anaergia has a long history of developing superior technologies for the anaerobic digestion of agriculture feedstocks—in fact, this was our original business. Over the years, we’ve provided our technologies to over 1,000 agricultural waste anaerobic digestion projects that treat a broad variety of agricultural, animal, and high-strength wastewater feedstocks.
MIXERS THAT MAKE THE MOST OF AGRICULTURAL FEEDSTOCK
Compared to other feedstocks, agricultural waste has a high dry-matter content, which requires exceptionally efficient mixing energy used in its anaerobic digestion. Anaergia’s many years of technology development have yielded the best mixers in the business. With our permanent synchronous motor (PSM) Smart mixing systems, operators have full flexibility to handle a wide range of feedstocks and operating scenarios by moving the mixer placement and changing the direction and speed of rotation. The resulting flow and thorough mixing of all substrates allows for higher volumes of feedstock in the digester—and more feedstock produces more biogas.
A COMPLETE SYSTEM TO CONVERT AGRICULTURAL WASTE TO ENERGY
We also have solutions for each step in the anaerobic digestion process, including effective solids feeding, efficient pre-treatment, our high solids Triton®, Helios® and Omnivore™ digesters, and our patented service box which provides easy access for inspection and maintenance while your digester remains in service.
Finally, Anergia offers technologies to make the most of your biogas, including combined heat and power (CHP) systems, and biogas upgrading to biomethane (renewable natural gas).
