Model P7117D-AG - Armored Perimeter Wire

Application:
This specification covers Direct Burial Cables designed specifically to guide Center Pivot Corner systems, consisting of solid conductors insulated with sunlight resistant Polyethylene, armored with stainless steel and having a sunlight resistant jacket overall.

Construction:

Conductors:
14 AWG solid annealed uncoated copper conforming to UL standard 719.

Insulation:
Low Density High Molecular weight Polyethylene with wall thickness of 0.045”, suitable for Direct Burial Applications, for operation up to 600 volts and conductor temperatures up to 60°C, UL listed. Black for single conductor and red/white for two conductor cable..

Armor:
A .005” x .500” type 304 stainless steel tape is hellically wrapped over the two conductors with a 25% minimum overlap.

Outer Jacket:
Sunlight resistant black PVC conforming to IPCEA S-61-402 NEMA WC5 and L 1263, nominal thickness .030. O.D. is .245”± .010” for single and .384” ± .010” for two conductor cables.

Surface Print:
“Paige P7117D-A ARMORED PERIMETER CABLE 14/1 or 14/2.” Additional surface print to customer needs may be specified.
