Munters evaporative cooling core is used in systems requiring high efficiency cooling. It can be used for many different cooling purposes, but is especially suited for cooling livestock farms and greenhouses when high airspeed is needed. The green striped cooling core consists of sheets of impregnated crimped cellulose paper with different grooved edges, one of which is perpendicular (45 degrees) and one of which is flat (15 degrees). This special design allows the cooling core to operate with low pressure loss while providing high evaporative efficiency. Calcification is kept to a minimum and no water overflow occurs as the water is directed directly to the core air inlet. Most of the evaporation occurs here. Special processing of cellulose paper provides a strong self-supporting product; it is protected against decomposition and decay by its high absorption and therefore it is long-lasting. The dispenser core is an integral part of the system and must always be ordered in combination with Muters cooling cores. The dispenser core is placed on top of the cooling core to ensure that the water is fed evenly and reduces the dry spot risk to minimum.
