EasyLife - Backings Wallcover
For companies who manufacturer Flat Vinyl and Expanded Vinyl wallcover products, Ahlstrom has product offerings, in 85 and 90gsm, manufactured at Osnabruck, Germany. Materials have “paste-the –wall” properties, excellent surface smoothness plus good embossing and register characteristics.

For companies who require nonwoven backings for their commercial wallcoverings (Type I and II). Ahlstrom has domestic product offerings in weights ranging from 42 to 85 gsm. These grades have been industry standards in North America for many years. They are manufactured at our Windsor Locks, Connecticut plant.

EasyLife nonwoven is a technology involving a special blend of high-quality cellulose and polyester fibers making wallpaper highly stable and durable. They are then easy to use and require very little effort to get on the walls perfectly. The wallpaper will not change in size or shape when on the wall. No more pasting table, no more delay, no need for the edges to overlap and finally, no risk of visible joins.

The EasyLife material is made of 60% wood pulp, FSC™ and PEFC™ certified, ensuring the sustainable development of forests. It is produced in plants certified with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 for product quality and ISO 50001, certifying that we can better conserve energy.
