BBK bio airclean - Concrete Floor Slatted Floor
On the concrete floor a slatted floor is installed, on top of which a plastic mesh is laid, on top of the plastic mesh 15 cm of leca is laid, on top of which 1m3 of BBK biofilter material perm2 is laid. The biofilter material is inoculated with selected microorganisms. A sprinkler system is installed to irrigate the filter. The odorous airflow is directed in at the bottom and pushed upwards as completely fresh air. The temperature in the biofilter is optimally maintained at 15-35°C, which provides maximum cleaning effect and ensures that the active microorganisms effectively break down odorous substances.

A BBK filter, unlike many other biofilters, cannot degrade and become inactive. Before inoculating the filter with the specific microorganisms, we perform a heat treatment that completely eliminates unwanted weed seeds, germs and other microorganisms. This ensures optimal odor removal.
