Belt elevators for grapes are made of stainless steel and are equipped with non-toxic plastic and FDA certified belts, therefore suitable for the contact with food. The belt has a bunch of 50 mm high pallets in order to better transport the grapes. Depending on customer’s needs, the belts can be wide 300, 400, 500 and 700 mm. To facilitate the belt washing functions, they are made with an opened structure and tubular frame and if required, they can also be equipped with automatic washing systems. Tanks for must harvesting have drain fittings and can be chosen by the customer among several usual fittings such as DIN, Garolla, Macon, Triclover or other. Belt elevators can be equipped with supporting trestles on wheels or adjustable feet. The discharge height can be fixed or adjustable too through a hydraulic pump and a jack. The rotation speed of the drum can be adjustable (optional) by inverter or mechanical variator. The commander electrical panel is compliant with E.C. regulations.
