Burg - Model Type: POLS-3D -Bin Robot Waterunloader

The 3D-system makes it possible to manipulate bins in all directions and positions within a designated 3D-space. Due to the 5-axis bin handling the possibilities with respect to bin handling are nearly limitless. For example: bins with unsorted product can be unload in one or more unloading tanks, where successively the empty bins are being placed on the infeed of the Binfiller so the empty bins are instantly reused for storing graded product. All of this can be done using one and the same system saving handling time, production space and investment costs.

The system is often used for high capacity water unloading where the product is unloaded in a dump tank by an integrated bin lift that clamps the full bin and gently submerges it in the dump tank. The fruits float out of the bin and is taken along with the water current to the buffer channel.

Product unloading and dosing can be done in combination with unloading systems from Burg to unload the product in a manner that best fits the respective product. POLS system can also be used to transport bins to other devices such as bin washers and to other locations in the production facility.

Optional functionality can be added to a POLS system for applications such as dry dosed unloading of more sturdy products and the nesting of bins (POLS-KD, POLS-KO & POLS-KN).
