- BIDA - Biodynamic Aerobic System
Geotextiles or permeable textile material, is placed between each media layer to prevent the migration of worms and shavings into the rock layer, rocks into the drainage basins, etc. It also provides another medium for the formation of biofilm.
A layer of crushed rock is installed with customers need to remove nitrogen as it cultivates a biofilms with strength in denitrification nitrification. It also helps maintain an air chamber within the system to provide aerobic conditions to the bottom of the wood shaving layer.
The drainage basins are thick pallets that line the floor of the system. Their sole purpose is to maintain an air chamber which is passively ventilated through the PVC vent pipes that run along the side of our system. Being an aerobic treatment system enables us to provide odorless wastewater treatment solutions which helps mitigate the emission of GHG.
