Italpollina was founded in the 70s by Cav. Licinio Bonini, who already operated successfully since 1953 in the agricultural sector. He anticipated of 40 years the current concept of sustainable development. His innovative idea was to create and produce fertilizers that would increase the chemical, physical and biological fertility of soil, in full respect of human and environment health Today this idea seems obvious, but at that times seemed like science-fiction!

In 1973 in Rivoli Veronese (VR) it was built the first pilot plant for production of organic fertilizer (dried chicken manure). Immediately this new organic fertilizer has been very successful all over Europe.

During the 80s, Eng. Nello Bonini gave new impulse and made the company grow further. Eng. Bonini extended the range of products and to make Italpollina an international company.

Under the leadership of Eng. Bonini, Italpollina, had an uncomparable growth and could spread its activity on the main European markets (France, Germany, Spain etc.) and in Southern America and Northern Africa.

In 90s and 2000 new factories and an international R&D Center were opened in Europe and South America. In 2011 Italpollina created the biggest factory in the world for the production of biostimulant based on 100% vegetal amino acids and peptides.
