The Brassica planter, developed by TTS, is designed for efficiently planting seedlings in medium row spacing applications. Each planter utilizes multiple robotic elements for distributing seedlings, with an impressive output rate of over 5,000 plants per row per hour. It offers the flexibility to plant between 3 to 8 rows, with more rows available upon request. This machine accommodates row spaces starting from 24 inches (60 cm) and features independently floating elements that incorporate ground pressure control, enhancing its adaptability to uneven terrains. Optional camera systems can be integrated to detect and skip blanks in seedling trays, optimizing the planting process. The Brassica planter is suitable for various seedling tray dimensions and can be configured as either a towed or semi-mounted machine, making it ideal for tramlines and spray tracks.
