Kisan - City Compost

Kisan City compost is a dark brown-black friable material which is prepared by thoroughly decomposing urban garbage, crop residues etc. City Compost contains beneficial bacteria which together with the soil supply the necessary nutrients from the atmosphere to the plants. When compost manure is added to the soil, it increases the level of organic matter and humus in the soil, which has many beneficial effects to the soil and crops. Kisan Compost can be used in Pulses and oilseeds @2.0-2.4 MT/acre, Cereals (Wheat, Rice, Maize) @ 3.5-4.0 MT/acre, 5.0-6.0 MT/acre in vegetables. NFL presently markets City Compost in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
