Coconut Coir Logs are made of 100% Coconut Fibers pressed into a tubular Coir Mesh Netting. The outer Coir Mesh Netting is hand knotted for superior performance. The dimensions are 1.77” x 2.17” in the machine and cross direction, respectively. Coconut Coir Logs are designed to withstand high water flow and wave impact without loss of material to ensure maximum erosion prevention. Coconut Coir Logs enhance plant growth and microbial activity in high water flow areas the Coconut Coir Logs are placed directly on the bank. Coconut Coir Logs are also placed offshore to reduce wave action to ensure sedimentation and vegetation. We offer 3 diameter sizes; 9”, 12”, and 20”.
