HORSCH Joker - Model MT -Compact Disc Harrow
The HORSCH Joker MT is a compact disc harrow that is ideal for stubble cultivation, the incorporation of catch crops, seedbed preparation or the incorporation of organic fertilizer. One of the key differences between the Joker MT and the Joker CT models is the construction and width range. The Joker MT is built heavier, making it more suitable for demanding tasks and larger operations. It offers a broader range of working widths compared to the Joker CT, which makes it ideal for larger fields and more intensive agricultural needs.
- Produces a high amount of fine soil in the germination horizon
- Efficient consolidation in the germination horizon
- Reduced problems in case of long harvest residues and shallow cultivation
- High clearance as the disc elements are arranged in pairs
- Optimum penetration due to aggressively serrated annular plates and high machine weight
The HORSCH Joker MT is a robust and versatile compact disc harrow with a 3-point linkage, available in working widths ranging from 12` to 22`. It excels due to its sturdy design and straightforward operation. The Joker MT is ideal for a variety of applications, from initial shallow stubble cultivation at depths of 1.5" to 3.5", seedbed preparation with a high amount of fine soil, to the incorporation of organic fertilizers. Additionally, it can be used for cultivating and incorporating cover crops. Thanks to its high clearance, achieved by the arrangement of two discs on one arm, the Joker MT is also perfect for incorporating heavy harvest residues. With an operational speed of up to 12 mph, it allows for a high acre output while maintaining a relatively low horsepower requirement. As with any disc harrow, the work result of the Joker improves with increased operational speed.
Due to the aggressive angle of the discs with a serrated profile, the Joker easily penetrates the soil. The HORSCH Joker series, including both the MT and CT models, is perfect for shallow tillage, stubble cultivation, incorporation of organic material, or seedbed preparation, with the MT model offering enhanced capabilities for larger-scale operations.
Disc serrated Ø 20"
- Disc serrated Ø 20"
- Excellent penetration of the soil
- Intensive mixing
- Different hardness grades in one disc
The serrated disc with a diameter of 20`` can be used in different situations. For working depths up to 6``, it reliably penetrates the soil. The serrated cutaways allow for an excellent incorporation of high amounts of straw. The serrated profile almost completely prevents the discs from stopping even in very light soils. Small disc diameter for high rotational speeds and a high production of fine soil.
- Shallow and fast stubble cultivation to stimulate the germination of volunteer crops , to interrupt capillarity action and to mix in harvest residues
- Efficient seedbed preparation after the plough or cultivator
- Incorporation of difficult harvest residues without clogging (catch crops, after lodged grain, corn)
- Smooth incorporation of organic fertilizer
- Working depths up to 2``
- Good production of fine soil
- Crushing of cover or catch crops
The Vortex disc is ideal for a shallow use up to 3 inch. Due to the large contact area, a lot of material is crushed but is only mixed in to a limited extent.

- Smooth incorporation of organic fertilizer
- High contact area due to 2.7`` wide ring elements
- Additionally mixes in organic material
- Can be converted to a winter packer
- Weight per m working width: 265 lbs
The RingFlex packer impresses due to its excellent load-carrying capacity on light and medium soils. Moreover, it guarantees a good consolidation. Depending on the conditions, it can also be used as a winter packer by removing individual rings.
