Crate Packing Machine

At first sight straightforward, the packing of graded produce in crates remains a complicated operation. It is necessary, for this phase, to treat on the same line both an overpacking item and a direct packing item for the fruits and vegetables that are to be packaged. The many different crate formats (dimensions, colours, materials, slots, customer specifics) and constraints (advantageous presentation of the fruits and vegetables, showing the side with the best colour, dealing with the shapes) make this a delicate phase.
