Dalsem - Irrigation System
Water is one of the most vital ingredients for growing plants. In order to create optimal growing conditions, it is of the utmost importance that each crop receives the right amount of water containing the right amount of fertiliser at the right time. Hence, irrigation is an essential part of the cultivation process.
Dalsem’s specialists optimise, develop, manufacture and install the right irrigation system for every type of crop, since each one requires a unique amount of irrigation water in a unique composition to achieve its maximum growth potential. Thanks to our water experts, we have all the necessary know-how in-house and we would be happy to advise on the ideal irrigation system for you.
There are several different irrigation methods:
- Irrigation from above
- Substrate hydroponics
- Ebb-and-flow system based on flooded concrete
floors, cultivation floors, rolling containers and/or
rolling benches/trolleys - Nutrient Film Technique (NFT)
- Trough system
At our production facility in Den Hoorn, The Netherlands, we not only manufacture the greenhouse, the boiler and all the electrical systems but we also produce the irrigation units.
