An alkalised diet will support rumen health, animal health and performance ultimately driving profitability in any ruminant system. Alkafibre® is approximately 80% digestible fibre source and 20% Alkagrain 150. The alkalinity allows Alkafibre® to be included in a diet where forage quantity is limited without seeing the rumen health issues often experienced with low effective fibre levels. The digestible fibre sources are currently North American Soya Hulls or Oatfeed, depending on customer preference.
