No-Frills Performance

Built with the same features as our Premium UTG fit for municipal vehicles, the BL-960 is an affordable, but powerful spreader. Lighter materials make it well-suited for contractors with medium-duty dump trucks.

Efficient Spreaders

For complete road coverage in just one pass, the BL-960 features a driver’s side discharge that locates material in the center of the road to cover both lanes for efficient spreading. If you are clearing a parking lot, the center discharge BL-960CD is the spreader for you. Both models feature an 18-inch poly spinner with a spread pattern spanning four to 40 feet and are controlled conveniently in-cab by the operator, so you can stay warm and dry, away from the snow.

Direct Drive Performance

 The BL-960 is the perfect companion to dump trucks with central hydraulics. Plumbed directly into the vehicle`s central hydraulics, the Meyer BL-960 UTG delivers highly reliable performance and decreased maintenance because it has fewer moving parts.

Durable Stainless Steel Contruction

The Base Line 960 features a 96-inch body constructed of corrosion-resistant, 10-gauge stainless steel to provide years of trouble-free service. The hinged top cover protects the spreader during normal dump body operations and lets the dump truck stay functional during non-spreading operations.

Hydraulic Safety Interlock System

Spinners are easily removed without any tools, and a hinged bottom door makes cleanout and blockage removal much easier. When paired with our hydraulic safety interlock system, which disables the auger when opening the bottom door, cleaning and/or maintenance work become much safer and easier.
