EnviroSCAN - Soil Moisture Probe
Sentek`s flagship product offers remarkable flexibility in accurately and continuously monitoring water, temperature and salinity levels at various depths within a soil profile. Initially recognized for its significant contributions to irrigated agriculture, the EnviroSCAN probe has proven instrumental in achieving water savings of 30-50% and significant improvements in crop yield and quality.
Today, its applications span multiple sectors of agriculture environmental monitoring, research and education, as well as turf management, parks and gardens. What sets the EnviroSCAN probe apart from other options on the market is that it is the only commercially available product that can monitor soil properties at considerable depths, up to 40 meters, with the convenience of a single profiling probe. Horizontal, fully buried installation of probes is also possible.

- Select specific sensors to continuously measure soil moisture, with the option to include salinity and/or temperature measurements.
- The system accommodates up to 16 sensors spaced 10 or more cm apart, allowing for adjustable depth placement. This allows monitoring at various depths, from shallow (0-10 cm) to deep installations (up to 40 meters).
- Individual sensors can be calibrated to specific soil characteristics for more accurate measurements.
- Probe lengths are flexible and can be customized for your specific application, with the ability to adjust the probe length in the field. The top of the access tube is sealed with either a flat or screw cap, depending on the application.
- To improve sensor repeatability, the probe has built-in orientation and depth settings.
- RTV silicone conformal coating for additional circuit protection. The system is fully field serviceable, allowing to easily replace and adjust sensors as needed.
