Farmtech - Model EDK 500 -Single-Axle Tipping Trailer
The single-axle tipping trailers EDK represent the basic product segment of Farmtech and may be used for the transport of various agricultural loads. Especially with this type of single-axle tipping trailers, the excellent ratio between the weight of the construction and live weight.
All EDK tipping trailers withstand extremely high loads in the field and on the street and are often being used by beginners and experienced professionals. With steel extension boards, robust quick release and serial central locking lever the EDK range offers maximum flexibility and economic efficiency. Optional equipment versions, for instance parabolic suspension, the HARDOX® floor or a dual circuit compressed air braking system offer an excellent completion for the professional industry-wide application.

Sturdy frame made from steel square tube 220 x 80 x 4 mm, trapezoidal tipping frame, high drawbar hitch with fix towing eye D40 mm, mechanic parking jack, preparation for trailer coupling, underride guard with commercial LED road lighting system (ECE R86), rear socket, rear wall support with the wheel (right rear), wheel chocks
AXLE
Heavy duty ADR-axle with 6-stud rims, track 1350 mm, axle load 5700 kg/axle at 25 km/h and 5000 kg/axle at 40 km/h, brake cam 300 x 90 mm
Heavy duty RINNER-axle with 6-stud rims, track 1350 mm, axle load 4600 kg/axle at 25 km/h, brake cam 300 x 60 mm
BODY
The floor made of 3 mm steel plate, plugged corner stanchions, steel sideboards and extension boards (FUHRMANN profile) with quick shutters, swinging and collapsible boards opening, central locking lever (left-right-rear), grain release with lever, access ladder according to accident prevention regulation (UVV)
TIPPING MECHANISM
Ball tipping mounting with conical socket, 4-stage hard-chromed telescoping cylinder, automatic stroke limiter
