Precimet - Model MN Series - Fertilizer Mixers

MN series mixers are the most commonly used mixer type. A combined drive is situated at the top of an open or closed tank and it rotates the blades driven by means of a vertical shaft. The blade rotational speed, type and diameter have been specified by our company, ensuring the optimal mixing results in the technological process. Most typically
a single mixer is used per tank. This requires accurate estimation of the distance between the blades and the tank bottom, due to specific mixer working conditions. The blades should only rotate when submerged.

Assembly:
If the mixer is fixed on the pivotal axle of a circular tank, the tank should be equipped with proper retaining screens
preventing rotation of the whole tank contents. If the mixer is not centrally mounted in a circular tank, there is no need
to use such screens. If the tank walls are unable to transfer the additional loads created by the screens, the vertical mixer is mounted in a non-central position. When situated in a corner of a square tank, the mixer does not require any screens.

Mounting collar/base plate:
Mixers feature mounting arms. The tank manufacturer supplies its cover together with a mixer base plate.
