The main uses of fishmeal are as follows: Livestock feed: feed for animals such as pigs, chickens, etc. These feeds need to contain high quality protein, especially young pigs and chickens. Because young animals are in a period of vigorous growth, the demand for protein and the proportion of amino acids in the protein are large, and fishmeal as an animal protein, the proportion of amino acids is the closest to the amino acids required by animals. Feed for aquatic animals: The main raw material for feed proteins such as fish, crabs and shrimps in aquatic animals. The ratio of amino acids required for fishmeal and aquatic animals is the closest. Adding fishmeal can ensure that aquatic animals grow faster.Nutritional characteristics of fishmeal produced by fish meal machine: The nutritional value of fishmeal depends on the raw materials and processing technology of making fishmeal. The common characteristics of its nutrients are: high biological value: high-quality imported fishmeal protein content is above 60%, some up to 70%; domestic high-quality fishmeal protein is more than 55%. The high content and balance of various amino acids, so its biological value is also high, is a high-quality animal feed for a balanced poultry diet. Higher energy: fishmeal contains higher fat, imported fishmeal contains about 10% fat; domestic fishmeal standard is 10%-14%, but some are as high as 15%-20%. Therefore, the metabolic energy in fishmeal is usually between 11.7-12.55 MJ/kg for chickens. However, its fat is easily oxidized, which often causes vitamin A and vitamin E to be deficient with the oxidation of fats. At the same time, the oxidation of fat is one of the reasons for the spontaneous combustion of fish meal. High calcium and phosphorus content: fishmeal contains 3.8%-7% calcium, 2.76%-3.5% phosphorus, and the ratio of calcium to phosphorus is 1.4-2:1. The better the quality of fishmeal, the higher the phosphorus content, the utilization rate of phosphorus is 100%. However, during storage, due to chemical decomposition, phosphorus is released and becomes elemental phosphorus. The elemental phosphorus has a very low ignition point and can be naturally removed without an open flame. This is the second reason why fishmeal is easily self-igniting during storage.
High trace element content: Fishmeal contains six trace elements commonly used in chickens, especially zinc and selenium. According to analysis, each kilogram of sea fish meal contains 97.5-151 mg of zinc, tuna powder up to 213 mg, freshwater fishmeal is 60 mg; per kilogram of sea fish meal contains 1.5-2.2 mg of selenium and tuna powder up to 4-6 mg. Especially rich in choline and vitamin B2. According to analysis, per kilogram of Peruvian fishmeal contains vitamin B27.1 mg, pantothenic acid 9.5 mg, vitamin H 390 micrograms, folic acid 0.22 mg, choline 3978 mg, niacin 68.8 mg, vitamin B12110 micrograms. Contains unknown growth-promoting factors: its exact composition has not been purified, so it is not named, but its growth-promoting effect is recognized and affirmed. High digestibility: chicken digestibility of fishmeal protein and fat is 91%-93% and 78%, respectively.
Overview of processing of fishmeal: Fishmeal is a fish with low economic value or poor quality, and feedstock and advanced organic fertilizer processed from the process of processing and production of aquatic products. First, the raw materials are sent to the chopper and cut into small pieces. After being sent to the cooking machine, they are directly heated into steam, cooked at 90-95°, and sent to the screw-type oil press through a spiral conveyor belt. Dry it into a finished product. The liquid part will be separated by centrifugal separation and natural sedimentation method, and the soluble protein liquid after separating the fish oil is concentrated in a vacuum and dried to a high quality fish meal. The fishmeal cake contains a large amount of water. In order to facilitate drying, the pressed cake is roughly pulverized and then dried into a dryer to have a moisture content of less than 10% of the finished fishmeal.
