It was in the year 2000 that Havatec started with the development of machines for the mushroom sector. Not long after that Havatec developed an advanced machine for the grading and bunching of flower bulbs using X-ray techniques. As from 2003, Havatec has an extensive range of machines for automated grading and bunching of flowers, for packaging flowers in boxes. Since then over 400 machines were internationally installed at numerous leading flower companies. Havatec became the leading supplier for the flower sector, always ahead in technique but ever with the key values in mind that go along with mechanization in agriculture: ‘simple, reliable and affordable’.

That is what we call ‘HIGH-TEC SIMPLICITY’. In other words, making use of high performance techniques in combination with the simplicity of a machine that just needs to operate for 16 hours a day without malfunctioning.

X-ray grading camera specialization

Havatec has specialized herself in X-ray and camera grading techniques. Apart from the implementation of these techniques, Havatec has developed her own X-ray Line Scan Camera. Which makes Havatec ahead of the X-ray software development for the inspection of various products.

Development of machines in co-operation with end-users

All machines that Havatec is currently manufacturing are developed in close co-operation with a group of potential end-users. These groups vary per project and consists of 1 to 30 parties and guarantees market potential. All parties participate and watching over our shoulders ensuring that the end-result is in sync with the requirements of the end-users.

Production and service

In 2008 we rearranged our engineering and production. Drafting production drawings, purchase of parts, montage, quality control and after sales and service are the various distinctive disciplines within Havatec and each carry their respective responsibilities. Closely work together in a joint co-operation existing of skilled craftsmen.

Perfect after care / after sales and service

We at Havatec have high standards when it comes to service and after sales. Our main goal is that our customer will have our machines up in production for at least 10 years and profit from their investment returns. We start an extensive co-operation direct after the purchase for the best client satisfaction. Havatec guarantees you a fast, flexible and decisive service department bringing machine downtime back to a bare minimum. Customer can decide to make service arrangements with us either on pay-per-hour base as with an all-inclusive service contract.
