The WickelStar I is an advanced foil laying dispenser designed for efficient and labor-saving operation, suitable for handling various agricultural films, including those used for strawberries, vegetables, and asparagus. Distinguished by its robust design, it combines a powder-coated and galvanized finish with a hydraulic pipe drive operable from the tractor, enhancing user convenience. The system features a Metasa pipe brake and either internal or external hydraulic cylinders fitted with a plastic piston. Dual adjustable outriggers support the placement of winding pipes up to 2150 mm in length, accommodating common lengths with up to 375 mm of lateral movement. The hydraulic unwind brake can be precisely controlled as needed, ensuring smooth, non-jerky operation. Weighing approximately 455 kg and measuring 2500 x 1450 x 1550 mm, the WickelStar I guarantees a reliable and efficient film laying experience.
The Wickel Star I film winder is the first model from Metasa. Compared to conventional film winders and film layers, the Wickel Star I impresses with a number of special features. The winder not only eliminates known functional errors or the awkward operation of existing models on the market, but makes them completely forgotten in view of its practical operation. Above all, it is a unwinder. The two arms are infinitely adjustable. Winding tubes up to a length of 2150 mm can be placed on. For the standard winding tubes (1600 mm and 1750 mm), the lateral stroke is up to 375 mm. The hydraulic unwinding brake on the Wickel Star I is also new and easy to use. This can be switched on as required using the control system. The arrangement of the bearings means that the tubes run easily and without rattling. It works smoothly and noticeably and efficiently improves the laying of film.
