Folium Multi-Sensors

SHARE

Under pressure to consistently deliver higher yields and better quality produce, growers need more information on the health of their plants than ever before. Understanding plant health requires new tools capable of ongoing monitoring across the vastness of modern growing environments. Folium multi-sensors provide a richer picture of plant health for commercial growing operations. Each unit collects temperature, relative humidity, CO2, PAR, RAD and barometric pressure readings (with the option to add external plant temperature or soil moisture sensors.) This richer data provides greater clarity on the status of your crop and your growing environment at any point in the day.

Due to their size, large farms have an uneven climate across their growing areas. Problematic microclimates occur but are difficult to pinpoint because fixed-location climate computers can only provide aggregated readings. Using multiple Folium units, growers identify microclimates which affect crop production. Additionally, Folium’s wireless portability means sensor units can be placed in virtually any location to give you a better understanding of crop health across your entire farm.

  • Realtime heatmaps reveal uneven climate across growing spaces

  • History graphs display data from previous days, months, years

  • CSV Exports to get your sensor data into other systems

  • 24/7 climate alerts via SMS or email

  • Remote access via your phone, tablet or desktop computer

  • API Access

Collecting more data benefits your operations by enabling them to run with greater precision and efficiency. Replace handheld readings with realtime data and free up your team for more productive tasks.

Folium accepts an external plant temperature sensor or a moisture sensor. Using a plant temperature sensor provides actual vapor pressure deficit (VPD) readings to indicate levels of plant stress. Growers can also utilize a moisture sensor to measure the humidity in the soil/growing substrate. Combining this data provides a detailed picture of plant status in real time.
