Traditional water channels are formed by artificially dug water channels on the ground, including cement water channels and stone water channels. Among them, the cement canal is quite heavy, and the transportation and construction process requires a lot of manpower, material resources and financial resources. There are still many shortcomings of cement water channels, such as: easy to crack, the reasons for cracking are various, such as cracking after freezing in winter; cracking during alternate dry and wet use; resulting in shorter service life of cement water channels and higher maintenance costs. It is easy to permeate, and after cracking, water is lost from the crevices. The surface of the channel is rough, and the resistance to water is relatively large, and the effect of water flow is poor. However, the stone-built water channel, due to the large gap between the stone and the stone, is more likely to cause water loss at the gap between the stone and the stone, which will cause large long-term use loss and poor economic efficiency. Whether it is a cement water channel or a stone water channel, there is a common defect, that is, the location of the water channel is relatively fixed and not easy to move, which greatly limits the scope of its use.
